Powering therapeutic possibility

Continuity Biosciences was founded on a simple belief: therapeutic potential can be amplified through precision delivery.

Our approach

Too often, promising therapies are limited not by what they are designed to do, but by the challenge of getting them to the right place. Treatments may disperse too broadly, struggle to penetrate the intended tissue, or fail to remain where they are needed long enough to deliver their full effect.

We are working to change that.

Precision and purpose

Our platforms are designed to help therapies reach target tissues with greater precision and purpose. Across small molecules, biologics, and cell-based therapies, we believe better delivery can expand what medicine is able to achieve.

The people behind the vision

Breakthrough technologies don't build themselves.

They require people willing to operate at the edge of what's known and to do the hard work of turning new ideas into something clinically meaningful.

Continuity Biosciences was founded by Alessandro Grattoni, Ramakrishna Venugopalan, and Robert Whitehead, a team that unites deep expertise across therapeutic delivery, medicine, and product strategy. Our science is rooted in research from Houston Methodist, and our advisory network brings experience across research, care delivery, regulation, and commercialization—giving us the rare ability to move fluidly from bench to bedside.

What drives us is not just scientific rigor, but imagination, persistence, and a genuine belief that delivery is where therapeutic potential can be won or lost. Our collective work spans 135 publications and 80 patents, not as a measure of the past, but as a foundation for what comes next.

How we turn precision into possibility

We are driven by the opportunity to expand what new and existing therapies can achieve in improving patient outcomes. This vision continues to shape everything we do.

This is why we are developing adaptive, therapy-agnostic delivery platforms designed to improve how therapeutic treatments reach and act at their intended sites of action. Rather than building around a single therapy or disease, we are building technologies that can support a wide range of applications where delivery is central to performance.

Delivery platforms, built to flex.

01
Pancreatic cancer
Our implantable iontophoretic system uses mild electrical current to deliver chemotherapy directly into tumor tissue, with the intention of maximizing impact at the source while minimizing systemic exposure.
02
Oral cavity cancer
Our iontophoretic system delivers chemotherapy directly into oral tumors using mild electrical current during a brief and minimally invasive outpatient procedure.
03
TYPE 1 DIABETES
NICHE, our subcutaneously implantable combination product, is designed to house insulin-producing cells in the body and provide a locally immuno-protected environment that supports their extended survival.
04
hiv
NanoDDI is a subdermal implant that is designed to deliver sustained therapy over months or years, reducing daily treatment burden and supporting long-lasting effects.
05
breast cancer
NDES, our nanofluidic drug-eluting seed, is intended to release therapy directly within the tumor, maintaining a sustained, localized therapeutic presence.
06
medical aesthetics
Our patch technology goes beyond surface-level aesthetics, using intradermal precision to deliver ingredients beneath the surface for a more targeted approach to skincare.

Advancing the
next chapter of therapeutic delivery

We believe better delivery can help shape what comes next in medicine.

As we continue to advance our platforms, we welcome conversation with partners and collaborators who share our excitement about what becomes possible when therapies can reach where they are needed most.
